F.O.O.T.P.R.I.N.T.S. INC

We are a Triangle-Based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves youth from diverse backgrounds, providing them with the tools they need to succeed both in and outside of the sports arena. We focus on three core areas: mentorship, athletics, and college readiness programs.

Our goal is To be a leading organization in youth development through sports, ensuring every child has access to quality sports programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.

F.O.O.T.P.R.I.N.T.S. INC. is an accredited organization under the youth division of USA Basketball.

Coach Baker has a thorough background enriched with valuable experience in youth athletics and youth outreach.  Since 2011, Coach Baker has serviced over thousands of school aged youth through athletics and community outreach through his work in the teaching, coaching, and mentoring in North Carolina and beyond.  Coach Baker has worked for and with organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of America, Wake County Public School System, and the USA Youth Basketball.

 

Quote from Coach Baker -“Working with the youth of my community and our country is my passion in life.  It is something that I have been blessed with the abilities to do effectively and efficiently.  I strive daily to live a meaningful life, and if I can go out and positively impact just one kid in my lifetime, I would have done just that."

 

Coach Derek Teel has a background in youth sports and athletic development.  A former certified youth personal trainer, Coach Teel has been coaching sports for the past 10 yrs.  Coach Teel is currently a Program Director with the US Soccer Foundation where he oversees a program that provides youth players nutritional education mentorship physical activity and community engagement.  

 

He has also spoken on Capitol Hill, in 2012 and 2013 to delegates from North Carolina on Federal Funding for Social Innovation a U S Mentoring programs across the United States.  Coach Teel is also an employee of Wake County Public School System and a coach in WCPSS, a position he has held for the past 9 years.
